The North Coast Trail is on the north end of Vancouver Island. Dropped off at Shushartie bay by an hour and a half ride from a water taxi from Port Hardy.
Our second day consisted of beautiful, thick and lush rainforest, with more rope sections and some beach sections.
The thick rainforest section on the second day was one of my favorite parts. It was just so lush and full of life and energy. I swear Unicorns live there.
The mushrooms were plentiful and there were bouys that marked where the beach sections were. A lot of them were signed, so we signed this one!!
After another day of #climing and #adventure, we camped in the forest and we slept so well. There were these trees at camp that had some sort of disease on them and they grew these huge globular nodes!!
