More than a quarter of kindergarteners in Camas County, Idaho, lack at least some vaccinations because their parents have opted for nonmedical exemptions, researchers said Tuesday.

Idaho has eight of the top 10 counties in the country with nonmedical vaccine exemptions, the reports finds. The other two are in Wisconsin and Utah.

At first glace this article looks like good news for the anti-vaccine crowd. More parents waking up to the dangers of vaccines and choosing to skip some or all of the "mandatory" vaccines kids need for public school.

“The paper is kind of a wake-up call to really take a serious look at closing the nonmedical exemptions in the 18 states that allow them,” Hotez told NBC News.

Most Americans vaccinate their children on time. It’s normal and accepted to vaccinate — and the U.S. system of requiring vaccines for children to attend public schools and day care centers helps reinforce the behavior.

Funny how they always mention it's required when there's most certainly no federal law requiring parents to vaccinate children. Sounds like fear porn and borderline fraud to tell parents to give money to big pharma or else your kid can't go to school. Any other industry would be sued if they routinely spread lies in order go get more people to buy their product. Isn't that the definition of a snake oil salesman?

At the time of publication, there is no federal law requiring vaccinations of children. These laws are left to the state and the local governments. While many areas require vaccinations for children before they are allowed to enter daycare or school, there are exemptions that may apply.

However, a small but very vocal anti-vaccine movement has made use of social media and in-person rallies to spread doubt about the safety and efficacy of vaccines. They encourage state lawmakers to allow parents to opt out of vaccinating their kids not only for legitimate medical reasons, but for religious or “philosophical” reasons.

Now here's the real agenda for this article that the main stream media is pushing. Time to get rid of the exemptions because to many people are using them and the truth might come out that these vaccines aren't what they're all cracked up to be. Especially the poor effectiveness of the flu vaccine this past winter. I think the CDC even admitted it was only 10% effective this year. At a 10% effective rate it's no wonder why they have to give those things out for free.

Hotez and a few other doctors, many of them pediatricians, have been taking on this vaccine-skeptic movement. They’re trying to encourage public health leaders to be more open in criticizing them.

“I think in the beginning … it was felt that the anti-vaccine group was a cult kind of movement,” he said.

“They didn’t want to give it oxygen and create an issue that wasn’t an issue,” he added.

The difference between this movement and a cult is that this movement encourages people to do their own research and fact check what the doctors are saying. They encourage open debate on this topic while a cult on the other hand silences critics and only allows the cult leader to speak. Is the CDC the cult leader for the vaccine makers?

Allegedly, he said it was the cause of this year’s deadly outbreak.

I recently read a local article in my google news feed about changes to "mandatory " vaccines for North Dakota public schools.

ND Department of Health Updated Student Vaccination Rules

Changes have been made to rules surrounding student vaccinations for the 2018-2019 school year.

It is now mandatory for 11th and 12th graders to receive a second dose of the meningitis vaccine.

This year, students will be excluded from school if they aren't up to date by October 1st. Lexie Barber reminds us that students entering kindergarten need 5 vaccines, and middle and high schoolers need at least two others. "With the rule changes, we're kind of concerned about kids getting in. But it's just a good time to make sure kids are up to date. People get busy and I know sports start earlier and earlier every year, so it's just good to get it out of the way, and not have to worry about it in the fall," says Barber.

All a bunch of fear porn, it mandatory and students will be excluded from school if they aren't up to date on their vaccines. All a bunch of lies and of course there's no mention of the fact that parent can exemption there kid from these rules.

It seems to me the main stream media is now pushing the narrative of to few students are getting vaccinated so now we have to push lawmakers in all 50 States into closing the exemption loophole which isn't a loop but rather a right of the parents to refuse to have a medical procedure done on their kids.
