E-Cigs are a suspect to liver problems.

E-cigs are proclaimed as the "safer" alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes. I mean after all e-liquid is just water vapor right? Not quite! Many people that have vaped know that e-liquid consists of PG, VG and Nicotine. PG stands for: Propylene Glycol and VG stands for: Vegetable Glycerin. PG, VG and Nicotine are not just water vapor when they reach boiling temperatures that causes them to produce a vapor. They produce a chemical compound that can potentially cause skin irritation, allergic reactions to those who are allergic as well as other things that are not well known as far I know.
I am concerned that vaping can be a cause of Hepatic Steatosis . It would sure be nice if there was more research on this subject. If anyone vapes or has vaped for any long period of time it may be a good idea to get a blood draw and have your labs done. If there are people that are getting liver issues from vaping it would be good to know how long it takes for the liver to recover from any damage done and how to have a speedy recovery.
