Backstory
Over 3 years ago, my wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer, stage 2B, which was the result of her contracting Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). She battle bravely and with great spirit but, in the end, she lost. Her family had conspired to pressure her to get rid of me, starting after my wife developed chronic kidney disease (phase 3 on the right & 4 on the left) due to the cancer pressing against the ureters (which lead to the bladder from the kidneys). They pressured both her and our daughter, manipulating and lying to them until her death. Her cancer had advanced to stage 4, and she died in the HCU on March 5, 2017. This tragic loss was compounded by the additional abuse we suffered at her family's hands, ultimately leading to us abandoning our home and possessions to return to the US.
We miss and love Ita so much and, in honor of her struggle and critical role in our lives, we hope to be able to raise money so that scientists can find the cure(s) to cancer.
