Study has shown that over 40% of mobile phone users use their phones whiles in the toilet. This is a very bad habit which has to be stopped. I know many of us reading this article are victims of this act and we need to advice ourselves because of the health dangers we are exposed to.
The following are some health risk associated with using your phone in the toilet
1.You risk loosing your phone for good.
After you have finished passing tool on the WC the next action is to flush. In doing this with your phone in hand it can fall directly into the WC if not held firmly as flushing is ongoing.

2. You carry bacteria on your hands and your phone making washing your hands worthless.
Anytime we visit the toilet we are exposed to lots of harmful germs. Whether we like it or not we carry some of these germs along when we leave the place. We go straight to the tap to wash our hands with soap leaving our phones unwashed then we pick our phones again right from there and infect our body with the germs thereon.

3. You do not concentrate on the purpose of being in the toilet.
As we take our phones along with us to the toilet we engage in various activities such as chatting, making & receiving calls, listening to music etc.
In doing this our attention is taken off from passing the tool and at times we even forget we are on the toilet by shouting to happy chats and singing along when listening to music. This is a bad practice that needs to stop._

4. Wasting too much time than normal.
Using our phones in the toilet make us waste too much time inside neglecting other duties we could have taken in that period. Sometime we even forget we have to leave the place for others to come and use the place also.

5. Contamination is more dangerous in public toilets.
-When you use your phone is a public toilet contamination is more severe. This is because different people from different works of life, clean and unclean all use the place. Risk of picking very harmful and dangerous germs is very high._
