Thanks for this! I'm in a similar situation at the moment - had a mesh repair for an umblical hernia a few years ago, but this has recurred and I'm finding it difficult to lose the weight needed to have the procedure performed again. I found recovery for the first operation was fairly smooth, but with this being a second operation in the same location and with a few more years under my belt I'm concerned about the timeframe to get back on my feet.
