Researchers develop artificial pancreas.

Diabetes specialists developed a device that works much better than manual insulin applications, this study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The idea is that this technology will help future generations to control diabetes, reducing the workloads of medical personnel and the number of hospitalizations of patients with diabetes.

The device reacts to the increase or fall of glucose and represents a significant advance for medicine, based on the fact that more than 30 million adults in the United States have diabetes and it is the 7th cause of death and renal failure.

There are two types of diabetes. Type 1 is an autoimmune condition in which the pancreas does not produce insulin, a hormone that the body needs to balance glucose in the bloodstream.

Type 2 diabetes is linked to obesity, which is why the body does not respond to insulin, which is why type 1 diabetes is more difficult to prove than type 2 diabetes.
