The nursing professional plays a very important role in the care of labor, since depending on the quality of their care is a guarantee the well-being of both the mother and the product that is the newborn, since in this process is triggered a series of behaviors and emotions product of the pain and discomforts that implies a labor. Now for humanized labor it is necessary:
1- That the pregnant woman decide the position of which she wants.
2- Allow you the company of your husband or relative.
3- Provide all the necessary support and understanding.
4- Educate and guide the pregnant woman about the proper breathing as well as the right moment for the pushing.
5 - Promote the beginning of Breastfeeding and establish as soon as possible that affective bond mother and child.
Childbirth is humanized when it involves all of the aforementioned actions and the mother is allowed to be autonomous to manage her labor as well as participate in decision making for her treatment and care, and quality care.
