A Cheap Natural Remedy For Parkinson's Disease That Really Works!

Parkinson's Natural Remedy

Do you know anyone with Parkinson's disease? Parkinson's disease is considered a non-curable, progressive disorder that affects the nervous system. Sufferers of Parkinson's disease often get shaky hands and have trouble with movement. As usual, mainstream Western medicine only has drugs and surgery to offer. While they can certainly "treat" the condition, they'll tell you there's no cure for it. Though it's illegal to cure diseases here in the supposed land of the free, unless the treatment is approved by the FDA, there is a natural solution for Parkinson's disease!

Mucuna For Parkinson's Disease

Wouldn't it be great if someone suffering from Parkinson's disease could get great results by only using one simple herb? Well, they can! Mucuna can provide almost instant relief from Parkinson's disease. I recently suggested Mucuna to two people who both had pretty bad symptoms and they both got great results. Their hands used to shake regularly, with some days being worse than others. Ever since they've been taking mucuna their hands have been pretty stable and they've noticed much improvement.

Also known as velvet bean, mucuna pruriens is a tropical legume with lots of history of use in Ayurvedic medicine. It's right on the money for Parkinson's disease. That's because mucuna is the highest natural source of L-DOPA, which is the direct precursor to dopamine.

Mucuna may have contraindications with medications commonly given to patients with parkinson's disease, particularly MAO-inhibitors. Check with your doctor and make sure mucuna won't interfere with your medications.

Dopamine and Parkison's Disease

It's important to understand a little bit about how Parkinson's disease works in order to understand how mucuna can help. Nerve cells (neurons) concentrate in a place in the middle of the brain called the substantia nigra, where they normally produce dopamine. Dopamine is a neurostransmitter that carries signals from the substantia nigra to other parts of the brain. The connection between the substantia nigra and the corpus striatum in the brain is essential for smooth motor skills.

Parkinson's disease occurs when enough (60-80%) of those neurons in the substantia nigra become impaired and/or die. As the disease progressively gets worse and worse, those neurons produce less and less dopamine. As a result, the brain can't properly send signals from the substantia nigra to the corpus striatum.

When you ingest mucuna, the body converts the L-DOPA into dopamine. Therefore, it helps make up for the lack of dopamine produced by the neurons in the brain. Pretty simple huh?

The basics of the relationship between dopamine and Parkinson's disease are well established in Western medicine. Mucuna is a highly regarded medicine in the Ayurvedic system. Why don't our doctors know about mucuna? They could be recommending it to all of their Parkinson's patients. And they should!

The Parkinson's Protocol

Parkinson's Protocol: mucuna, marine phytoplankton, chaga, beet root (betaine)

Mucuna is a great start and that one herb alone can work miracles for people suffering from Parkinson's (read product reviews for mucuna and see for yourself). But why stop there? Here's a few other recommendations I learned from David Wolfe to combat Parkinson's disease naturally:

  • Marine Phytoplankton
  • Chaga
  • Beets (betaine)

Help Someone With Parkinson's Disease

Share this post with someone you know who has Parkinson's disease. Even if you don't know anyone directly, share it online because it's likely you know someone who knows someone who has it. It may be someone close to them and you can help them by sharing this info.

There's not that much money to be made off of selling herbs. The money is in selling prescription drugs. That's a large part of why this isn't better known. I make a small affiliate commission if you click on any of the links and buy mucuna but that's why I'm doing this and it's not nearly enough to entice large corporations into spreading the word. In conclusion, it's up to you to get the word out!
