33 Hawaiian Elders (Kupuna) were arrested today on Mauna Kea Hawaii. Governor David Ige issued an emergency proclamation to give law enforcement authority to close more areas on Mauna Kea in an effort to reduce the tension, and the potential for any confrontations.
