Mulberries are very sweet, hanging fruits from a genus of deciduous trees.. They originally come from China. and people love them because of their unique flavor and impressive composition of healthy nutrients.
In terms of appearance, these berries grow fast when they are young but gradually slow as their color changes from white or green to pink and red, then to the dark purple or black color you see in the picture.
I love them to eat by themselves, to make juice and even tea. They make a very healthy drink that is good for kids and the elderly as well.
I can buy them at my local market here. They are a bit expensive but it is definitely worth it.
