There's an awakening inside of me
it has come in the past year
ever since i left home
ever since i graduated college
i didnt want to be where i was
i moved back home and didnt like the place where i was living
so i decided to leave
i wanted to do something completely different
so i moved without knowing what was going to come next
i learned how to be alone
this is the prime time for when to have an awakenin g
it's hard to dive deep inside of yourself when you're surrounded by the influences of others
i spent a lot of time by myself
i left my new home and embarked on another journey where i went to be alone again
i wanted to figure out what was best for me
what i wanted to do was try something new
to expand and grow upon the person i already was
then realized that i needed to leave again
and made my journey back home

after returning i still havent figured out what's coming next
i dont know what im doing
im taking one step forward each and every day
at least that's what i like to think
self-awakenings
they are important
understanding yourself
this is important
being yourself
that is what you should strive to do every single day
it's hard to be yourself if you dont know who you are
that's why you need to spend time alone
to figure out who you are and who you want to be
then work every day towards fulfilling that prophecy you set for yourself

when something dormant becomes active
what is sleeping in your life?
what is hibernating?
resting?
waiting?
what will wake it up?
what fire do you need to realize something that is hiding underneath layers upon layers of subconscious thought
what is trapped that you wont let go of

wake up
i've been sleeping a lot
i like to sleep because then i dont have to think about anything else
it's easy to sleep
it's much harder to be awake
dont let time pass you by
become attuned to your self
your desires
wake up
dont hit the snooze
just wake up
