Bartlett Pears • Food Photography

I shot a couple of pears in a wooden tray with natural light from the window. It made a nice looking still life with the contrasting colors. Pears are in season now and if you buy them at the supermarket your best bet is to leave them on the window sill and let them ripen naturally with the help of some good ole sun rays. When they turn yellow they will be ready to eat and very sweet.

The one on the right is almost there!

I photographed the pears with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.
