Starbucks Announce 100% Pay Equality Across Gender And Race

Despite a looming deadline two thirds of UK firms are yet to publish their gender pay gap data.
Companies who don’t disclose the information by 4th April face face an “unlimited fine”. So far over 6,000 companies are yet to share the data.

However Starbucks appear to be paving the way in terms of equality. Yesterday revealing that it will provide equal pay for all staff across the US. Aiming to roll out the move globally.

The company also insist that they will be transparent in terms of pay. Telling job candidates the pay range for any position when interviewing.

Starbucks don’t use a candidates salary history to determine their starting salary. In their eyes that would merely be bringing inequality of a previous position into their own system.
