Foodie-licious: Giniling Festival 🍚🥄

Giniling Festival Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 kg lean ground pork
2 pcs medium potato (cut into cubes)
2 pcs medium carrots (cut into cubes)
1 cup frozen green peas
1 pc green or red bell pepper (cut into cubes)
1 small onion (cut into cubes)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup tomato sauce
2tbs tomato ketchup
2tsp fish sauce
1tsp butter
1tbs extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter and add minced garlic.
  2. Turn the heat into medium then add onion and olive oil.
  3. Add ground pork and fish sauce, saute for 5 mins and cover pan simmer for 5 mins.
  4. Add carrots and potato and 1 cup water, simmer for 10 mins or until the vegetables are cooked (be sure it is not overcooked).
  5. Add green peas and bell pepper.
  6. Add tomato sauce and ketchup, simmer for 2mins.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste

Optional: You can put a sprinkle of Knorr Magic sarap or Ajinomoto for more meatier taste! :)
