Hi Steemians. How often does it happen that you get unexpected visit and thinks: If I had prepared something ... For this situation today my lemon cake recipe, with ingredients everyone has at home. Little work, short baking time and great taste.

Ingredients:

250g butter

250g sugar

4 organic eggs

Organic lemons

250 g flour

1 tsp of baking powder

1 pinch of salt

100ml lemon juice (fresh pressed)

100g powdered sugar

Peel the lemon and put it on the side. Stir the butter until soft, add the sugar. Gradually add the eggs and the lemon peel. Now add flour, baking powder and salt and mix it well. Grease the baking mould and dust with flour and fill in the mass. Baking for about 60 minutes at medium rail.

In the meantime mix the lemon juice and the powdered sugar. After the baking time, prick the cake with a needle and soak with the lemon- sugar juice.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve!
