Shakshouka
Ingredients
- 2 - 3 eggs
- 1 onion, finely sliced
- 1/2 red pepper, diced
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 3-4 tablespoons tomato sauce to taste
- Chilli sauce (optional)
- Pepper and salt to taste
- Celery leaves
- Olive oil
The steps
- Saute the onion until fragrant.
- Enter the tomatoes, red and green peppers. Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, pepper and salt, mix well.
- Make a small indentation between the sauces, break the eggs on top. Cook to desired maturity.
- Add celery leaves on top of it.
- Serve with tortillas, whole wheat bread or warm rice.
