Sushi in San Telmo

Caution! Food-Porn

With a smattering of commentary. This is aimed at making you hungry on a Saturday afternoon.

Shokudo is an alternative to the taco place that I have featured many times here.

This was the place I had taken my kids when they had not yet acquired a taste for the cold, squishy, orange meat of the salmon.

Fried rice was a favorite, fresh Ramen was also good, along with fried roles with avocado inside. We still go there but raw is now preferred.

Of the aforementioned, the only one that is still ordered by my (not so small anymore) kids is salmon skin rolls. They are tasty, but the texture makes me think that there are insects inside.

It is easier now that the boys eat raw fish, but the quantities we have to order are wallet busting. They have taken to whole meals consisting of salmon and rice - soy sauce dip and a pinch of wasabi.

Sushi is the kind of thing that one can easily overdose on, but once or twice a month is can keep that from happning.

A quick glance upward on the way out.

Full and satisfied.
