Ingredients

  • pork chops (boneless or bone-in);
  • 2 tablespoons butter;
  • garlic cloves peeled;
  • a cup of white wine (red wine is great too indeed);
  • salt;
  • pepper.

Instructions

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Melt butter in a big skillet or a pan over a medium heat. Put chops in and sear them for three to five minutes on each side over high heat. When done take them out and put aside (the chops should be of that lovely golden color). Add garlic to the pan and cook for three minutes. Add white wine and pork chops, turn heat to low and cover the pan. Cook for twenty minutes up to half an hour until the chops are tender.
