TWISTED DOUGHNUT - MY OWN VERSION RECIPE

Hello my dear #STEEMIANS here I am again @reatimtim to share to you one of my most requested snacks "TWISTED DOUGHNUTS" in #CEBUANO dialect we called it #SHAKOY.
YOU KNOW WHAT INPSIRED ME MOST TO BAKE THIS KIND OF SNACKS? It's because during my childhood days I used to ask my mother to buy for us "SHAKOY" for snacks everytime the sales vendor in our place passed by in our house. But due to limited budget my mother will only buy BISCUITS to share with my siblings.
From then, I told to my self, "When I finished my study and have my own job I WILL BUY MANY MANY MANY SHAKOY... it's sounds funny but that's the reality.
Now that I have my own family with 2 kids, I study on how to bake #TWISTED DOUGNUTS or #SHAKOY .

RECIPE:

  • 3 cups all purpose flour for doughnuts
    *1 1/2 cup all purpose flour for dusting
  • 2 tbsp butter (Melted)
  • 2 1/4 tsp dry yeast
    *1 cup of milk (Evap)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Oil for deep frying
    #LOVE

Note: Served while hot to taste better.
