# 1 prepare the ribs
here we start with a simple slab of ribs, you can trim any excess fat you see fit and also remove membrane from backside (optional)
# 2 season the ribs
this is my selection of seasoning and spices
LIQUID SMOKE, SALT, BLACK PEEPER, GARLIC POWDER, ONION POWDER, AND PAPRIKA.
# 3 FIRST BRUSH EVENLY WITH LIQUID SMOKE
I do this for the flavor and to help give the seasonings something to adhere to, it gives the meat a canvas for you to paint on.
# 4 NOW AN EVEN SPRINKLE OF LAYERED SEASONING
sprinkle seasonings in even layers starting from left to right (from picture #2)
salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
(keep in mind this is all to your personal preference)
refrigerate and prepare the grill.
# 5 HERE IS MY TRUSTY RUSTY GRILL
place coals to one side of grill as we will be cooking with a indirect heat source
sprinkle charcoals with charcoal lighter fluid and set a blaze !!! lol haha
return the grills and wait for coals to show first signs of ash
as soon as the flames go out and coals are ash colored, go ahead an add the ribs to grill opposite side of heat source as shown
cook for 2 hours each side without adding any sauce and they should look like this
# 6 NOW YOU CAN FULLY COAT BOTH SIDES WITH SAUCE !!
# 7 AT THIS POINT YOU SHOULD FLIP RIBS EVERY 15 MINS FOR 1 HOUR TO GET THAT
CHARBROILED BAR-B-QUE SAUCE FLAVORING !!
here they are all done and cut into rib-bets YAY !! WE DID IT !!
# 8 NOW TRANSFER TO SERVING PLATE (I use a pan covered with foil)
