Hi Steemians! This Saturday I went to the "Arts ménagers". This is one of many artisans exhibition, there are stand construction, food, clothes, gadgets and longest beer bar where you can taste up to 28 different specialty beers.
Okay this is long but 28 beers is not huge. This small bar "Le palais du houblon" has over one hundred ... well I tested some here for
La Cuvée des Trolls
It's brewed from sweet wort to which we add hops and dried orange peel. This is a top-fermenting beer. 7% Alcohol
Lindemans Lambic "Pecheresse"
Very tasty if you like fruit.For people who do not like bitter beer. 2.5% Alcohol
Brugse Zot
Craft lager of high fermentation is the last beer brewed in the historic center of Bruges. 6% Alcohol
Tripel Karmeliet
it gets its name from three cereals used: barley, wheat and oats. Very tasty. 8% Alcohol
Timmermans Gueuze Lambicus
Acid taste but not bitter. fermented for four months in the bottle, will age for 20 years. 5.5% Alcohol
Pêche Mel' Scaldis
Based on a drink made by Belgian students combining peach Lambic and strong Scaldis, Pêche Mel redefines what a beer with fruit can taste like. 7.5% Alcohol
St-Feuillien Saison
Several time medalist, local beer, Saison originated in farms breweries in southern Belgium. 6.5% Alcohol
