10.    2 slices of Texas toast or sourdough

11.    2 slices swiss cheese

12.    2 slices American cheese

13.    1 tbsp. Frisco sauce

14.    2 pats salted butter

How to Make It

For the Frisco Sauce

1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Set aside.

For the Frisco Melt Sandwich

1. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat and coat with cooking spray.

2. Divide the meat in two thin flat patties and add them to the cast iron. Fry the patties until cooked through and crisp on the outside - trying to flip as least often as possible. Set aside and wipe out cast iron skillet.

3. Once the burgers are done, begin to assemble the sandwich. Lay one piece of bread down and add two slices of the swiss cheese. Add one of the cooked burger patties then the two slices of American cheese, then the last burger patty. Next, add the frisco sauce to the remaining piece of bread and put it on top of the sandwich.

4. After you've wiped out the cast iron skillet, get it hot again over medium heat and add 1 pat of butter.

5.  When the butter is melted, add the frisco sandwich and move it around the pan to soak up all the butter.

6.  Meanwhile, add the other pat of butter to the top of the sandwich and after few minutes the bread will begin to get crispy and the cheese will start to melt - at this point, flip the sandwich and smear it around so that the butter can sop up into the bread. Let it cook for a few more minutes until the bread is crispy and the cheese has melted, then enjoy!
