I travel the world #413: Hashi Berlin

Hashi Berlin

The Weather in Berlin is fantastic right now so I invited some friends over to my favorite Izakaya in Berlin. The Hashi is located next to the Amano Hotel near Hackschermarkt and offers excellent food at affordable prices. I ordered a Ume-shu with sodawater on the rocks (my favorite drink in the summertime). The Name Hashi comes from the Japanese Word Hashi (Chopsticks). If you look up you will see an art installation with chopsticks.

The have a seating area outside but if you want to sit there make sure to make a reservation (It is always full). We started with some Edamame, a Salad with Avocado and some grilled prawns. After that we had some Calamari and Chicken Yakitori with Yuzu-Pepper. Of course we had a lot drinks that's the purpose of an Izakaya. I really recommend this hotel to every budget traveler, really cheap and delicious.

Do you like Ume-shu ???
