Guess what today's random food holiday is? It's National Chocolate Ice Cream Day!!!
Now I say that's a food worth celebrating!
Most Ice cream recipes call for eggs and boiling. While I'm sure that there are some really good recipes like that, our favorites sometimes end up being the simple ones with no heating, eggs, or whipping believe it or not.
I am sure that there are many different ways of making great ice cream and I want to try them all. I just like simple and, more than that, I love recipes that are fast.
The brownie batter bites definitely take this simple chocolate ice cream and make it amazing. They aren’t necessary of course and you could totally skip them or add something else like nuts or candy pieces, but they are awesome in this so you won{t want to skip them.
I think all ice cream muct have chunks of something in order to be the best, But if you're a purist who likes it plain and smooth I think that's great for you.
Yeah, it's not picture perfect but that usually just means the taste is even better.
