4-layer Chapati(Wheat Parathas) and Couliflower pepper fry

Hi my dear Friends...Here I am with a yummy combination of Chapatis and a tasty delicious side dish - Couliflower pepper fry...

At first I am starting with the Chapatis...
Make a dough, and keep it covered for an hour.
(To make this dough you can refer my earlier post about Poories and the Yellow Dal)

Now make the balls from this dough.
Make round roties using rolling pin.

Smear few drops of refined oil like this and fold it twice to get a triangle shape.
Now using roller or rolling pin, make these Chapatis like this.

Fry on both sides till golden brown on medium flame, on a non stick open pan. No need to put oil while frying.

These Chapatis are very soft, tasty and delicious with 4 layers.

Now let's come to the side-dish. Cauliflower pepper fry...

I always like pepper and I like trying different dishes using pepper!!.
I am loading the pics one by one which are self explanatory!!

Cut the cauliflower and onions like this...

Fry onion in refind oil, add Cauliflower pieces to it keep covered with constant stirring. No need to add water. Add cumin seeds, pepper powder, butter and salt for taste. Now finally few drops of lemon juice and a bunch of finely chopped coriander leaves. For those who like to eat a spicy one, you can add a split green chilli, while cooking. But please keep in mind not to overcook cauliflower. It must be removed from heat, soon after it becomes tender!! The whole thing must be done on a low flame.

(I actually add a tea spoon full of butter, after adding the Cauliflower pieces to the fried onion. Because for me, this dish when made using butter tastes more good than made without butter!!. But for vegans, you can replace butter with one more spoon of refined oil)

So here are the Chapaties or The Wheat Parathas(Paranthas) I can call, With this yummy Cauliflower pepper fry, ready to eat...!! 😋😘
