Air in chips pack, why?!

As you know, many people complain that packets of chips, no matter if expensive or cheap, tasty or not are over half empty. I often find out that people say that the company is doing them in a balloon. Often we also see a promotion that enlarges the package by half, and we do not see a difference in the number of chips.
I will start with normal non-aggressive. Now the pack is so inflated that we eat normal crisps, not crumbs. Air or whatever there is to protect the content, because the inflatable package will not jam in the transport, and thus our appetizer will remain the whole. If someone does not believe that he is not in the horse, then let him weigh what he bought and compare it with what they wrote on the package. I assure you that if it is to be 50g, it will be 50g (maybe some deviations are, but I found such a plus and minus, and did not exceed 2-3g).
On the contrary, what does the consumer think is that the promotional package has the same content as the usual one? Well, because the packaging is bigger, and the 20% more chips are just a dozen grams more, so visually it's not much. However, in the larger package we seem to have more air, and thus we have the impression that they have cheated us again.
So next time you eat this snack, remember that the content weighs as much as it weighs, and the air protects your crisps from crushing. As you like not to have the impression, buy concave crisps in tubes, have a shape that allows them to be closed in a small space, without the risk of crushing.
