Mushroom | Volvariella Volvacea

Mushroom (Volvariella Bolvacea) or kulat jump in Acehnese is one of the most widely cultivated fungus species in East Asia and Southeast Asia with a tropical or subtropical climate.

The young fruit body is oval, dark brown to gray and shielded. In the body of adult mushroom fruit fruits, the hood develops like a grayish-brown gray dish with light brown stems. The mushroom that is sold for consumption is the young fruit body whose tudung is not yet developed.

Mushroom is grown in a building called kumbung. As the name implies this fungus grows well on the media and straw that has been composted. Straw mushroom sangan delicious cooked with noodles.

However, further cultivation practices also found that these mushrooms grow well on paper waste composts, empty palm bunches, compost banana stems and bio-mass compost in general.
