Hello steemians!
Today I’m going to show you how to make the easiest Apple Butter you can ever make. No slow cooker needed 😉
First of all, Ingredients!
( So I don’t really use measurements and stuff so just eyeball it, you can’t really go wrong with this recipe)
Apples (Any tarte apples will do)
Brown Sugar
Ground Cinnamon
Nutmeg
A Splash of Apple Cider Vin & Vanilla Extract
Water
Let’s get to chopping and throw everything in a sauce pan..
Bring to a rolling boil on medium high heat. Then bring heat down to low to simmer for 45 mins.
Beware of the brown sugar. So I suggest to watch and stir continuously until it’s time to simmer.
When it’s ready and cooled off, I put the cooked apples and sauce into a food processor and blended until smooth.
VOILA!
Good old Apple Butter. Homemade and none of the processed stuff you buy at the grocery store. This is one of the easiest recipe that I have ever done. It goes magnificently with any kinds of breads, English muffins, scones, biscuits, and bagels! Make sure it’s toasted to golden brown, spread a little butter, and your freshly made apple butter. Enjoy it with tea or coffee!
Happy Eating,
