Mojito morning

Good morning, dear readers. Today is a wonderful morning. I think this is the best reason to start it with mojito.

At first we will go a bit deeper into history. The birthplace of mojito (mojito) is Cuba. The name of the cocktail, according to the most common version, came from the Spanish word mojadito ("a little wet"). The world became popular in the twentieth century, although it was loved three centuries before. They say that big fans of mojito were Fidel Castro and Ernest Hemingway, who lived on the islands for more than 10 years. The cafe La Bodeguita del Medio, where the mojito formula was first derived as we know it today, exists to this day.

Mojito is the most popular and sold cocktail in the whole world. It has non-alcoholic versions, it is made in bottles, like a normal drink. It seems to me that every Barman in his career has come up with at least one twist on mojito, and 100% of all bartenders have prepared it.

This is the most amazing cocktail. He is equally very simple and terribly difficult. No complicated ingredients, but it's very difficult to catch the taste balance. I'll try to tell you a couple of secrets.

Lets go

  • We take half a lime of medium size and cut into 3 4 slices. Put into a glass and gently crush, without catching the zest, because the juice from the zest will give an unpleasant bitterness to the drink.

  • After you take 8-10 leaves of fresh mint, grate the side of the glass, put it inside and lightly knead it.

  • After filling the glass with crushed ice.

  • Add 60 ml of white, light Rum Bacardi.

  • 20 grams of sugar syrup (preferably on cane sugar).

  • Then fill the glass with a soda and gently stir with a spoon.

I think this mojito will not be bad.
