Worldwide Splitters 60 Day Splits challenge- Days 41-45 and Frozen Fairy Lake Hike

For this challenge, you commit to practicing flexibility training 5x a week ( my personal practice tends to be very yoga based) , and taking photographs to track your progress. It is hard to believe that i have been consistently training my splits for almost two months! It has been a long road full of challenges, but i have made leaps and bounds in progress, and the time has absolutely flown by! 

Day 41- Rest Day #9. Rough night at work

Day 42- Stretched after work today despite some pretty rough cramps. Trying to make sure that i am staying hydrated. Long day on my feet busy waitressing, so my hips are a little sore, hoping that a good nights sleep will fix that :) Overall though, feeling great about where i am in the challenge. My fiance even commented tonight that he can see the difference already, and that made me feel pretty great :) Hope everyone is feeling amazing!!!!

day 43 real


Day 43....Light stretching day today, its my Friday!!!! I am really looking forward to hot springs tomorrow with the fiance, and some deeper stretching sessions on my days off . Things felt a little tight tonight, but i was pretty tired , and prefer morning practices, but today Jeff and I hiked around Fairy Lake. It was really beautiful , and there was a whole bunch of shards of ice floating on one side of the lake (in the shady side closer to the mountain) And it made the most amazing cracking sounds like water wind chimes. Anyway the view was phenomenal, the hike was fun too, and i enjoyed the time out in the fresh air.

Day 44- Rest Day #10- Had an awesome, active day off. Went to the Hot Springs and saw some friends in the morning. Went horseback riding for the first time in my life, which was fun , and amazing, and a little scary, and had some wine and hoop time with my friend. I even practiced my splits and stretching a little bit there, but no photos. Learning some new hoop moves, and working on developing a space that we can dance, flow, and do aerial in :) Had a wonderful time with my friends, then went out to dinner with the honey :)Came home, and was going to watch a show and stretch, but ended up passing out because i was so tired :) About to do my morning stretches! Starting to feel a little sad that the challenge is going to end!

Day 45- Had a fun night with my girlfriends, we cooked a wonderful dinner,drank some wine, played on the hammocks and pole, and hung out :) Super super quick session last night after our girl time because it ran really late, so i was pretty exhausted. Better/ deeper stretching will happen today :)
