Creating a third sex wasn't easy. Introducing a third sex to the world wasn't fun. This evolutionary leap forward wasn't brought into existence to fulfill some strange fantasy, or to put a theory to the test. Pollinators were borne of dire necessity; making babies the old-fashioned way had become far too dangerous. If humanity was going to stick around for a few more years, men and women would have to get used to a new kind of procreation.
