The Finale
Karma is a Boomerang
Apsara was shivering as the pale white creature arose from the book and inched forward towards her. The creature which called itself Dhruv was cold, calculating and rapacious. All of a sudden, a hand from nowhere grabbed her, swiveled her around and slapped her.
"How could you forget Lathika?", the creature slapped her again.
Apsara felt so chaotic. She was totally confused and could not understand why does a character in the book has become a problem now. "Who the hell is Lathika. She is just Tanya's schoolmate. Why is she coming now? It makes no sense." She screamed and sobbed.
Immediately, the book started printing words. Apsara dashed to the book and began to read.
Dhruv and Tanya went for a ride after the most cherished moment in their life, their first kiss. Tanya was sitting behind Dhruv happy as a clam because he is hers henceforth. The kiss made them much more intimate.
"The first kiss and the proposal acceptance on the same day! Wah, it is a blessing Tanu!", Dhruv winked at Tanya and planted a peck on her cheeks.
It was then Tanya's phone popped up continuous notifications. Tanya was appalled to find what was on her phone. I was a bolt from the blue to find Tanya's nude pictures being uploaded on facebook with 1K shares and 2K likes.
"Dhruv, Dhruv!", Tanya sobbed. Dhruv stopped his bike and grabbed the phone. Dhruv and Tanya remained completely incognizant on what to do next. Immediately Tanya received Lathika's call.
"Hey, Tanya! With Dhruv eh? Can you stop your romance sessions for a while and look at your facebook. You are being nud-ed online baby.", Lathika replied with a grunt and wicked laugh.
"Lathika? Are you laughing? What's all this?", Tanya questioned in an alarming manner.
"Yes, you bitch. You are the bitch who took my Dhruv from me. Yes, my dear, I love Dhruv. I never thought Dhruv will love a person like you. How can he love you when I am there? The most beautiful Lathika? In the beginning, I thought that you were just infatuated towards him. But you crossed your limits baby girl. It is me who morphed your pictures and uploaded them online. Die you girl!", Lathika cut the call.
Tanya wept and whimpered out loud. "My life is gone", was the only words that came out of her mouth.
"She betrayed me Dhruv! She spoiled my life! I will die. I will die!", Tanya shouted and hastened across the road.
"Tanya, wait!", Dhruv cried out and ran behind her. Instantaneously, an enormous truck hit both of them and ran over them. They breathed their last.
"The social media was meant to make friends, but it became Tanya and Dhruv's enemy", the headlines next day read.
Two people dead only because of Lathika's desire. But what about Lathika?
The book all at once started printing. "It should not be what I am thinking right now!", Apsara prayed to God.
"This book is based on a true story. The events depicted in this movie are fictitious. Any similarity to any person living or dead is fucking coincidental because Tanya is Anuradha, Dhruv is Anuradha's boyfriend Nithin, and Lathika is fucking You!"
Apsara was dumbfounded. "Nithin, Anuradha, I, I".
Apsara recalled the offensive act she did for her friend Anuradha in order to satisfy her lust on Nithin. "I am sorry, I loved you Nithin. I am beautiful than Anuradha. And..."
Straight away, Apsara was stabbed by the creature. The book finally printed "THE END".
"A 25-year-old woman named Apsara committed suicide after finding her obscene photographs online", the headlines next day read.
"Karma is a boomerang baby!", the book finally printed it's words and commenced to burn out.
