EOS is going to change a lot of aspects in the game

here are some of the things they plan for us for 2018 and beyond.

EOS Storage:

Free cloud storage, yes free, this is a big competition for companies like Sia and Filecoin,
who aims to be the biggest cloud service, as long as its not instant and free, they have a big problem.
In order to use EOS Storage all you need is to have EOS tokens, you won't need to spend them for storage space,
just to rent, once you're done with the storage space you can simply delete the files and get your EOS tokens back!

EOS Finex:

Just like Bitfinex, one of the biggest exchanges, in EOSfinex you will be able to trade almost all tokens with EOS,
this might lead to a huge awareness and adoption of the EOS token and technology!

Scatter:

Just like Metamask for ETH, Scatter is the improved version for EOS, its really easy to use, and the developer plans are: "Scatter was designed in a way that your grandma will be able to use it".
Scatter will be an extension that will allow us to send our information only when
we decide and in few clicks, this app will eventually plans to replace your passport for personal details and wallet with the online digital payment options.

An index for all EOS projects, new events, price change and much more, see also EOSProjects.

Everipedia:

Aims to be the biggest online encyclopedia, built on the EOS blockchain, will stop censorship and contributors will be awarded for participating and adding values.

Human Readable Account Names $ Account Recovery:

In EOS your wallet address will be a name of your choosing, just like Steemit!
They also plan an account recovery system that will protect us, the users, from fraud and hacking.

DPOS:

Delegated Proof-Of-Stake, in this system we, as EOS holders will choose 21 candidates to be Witnesses, witnesses are the only ones that will mine blocks and also get rewarded for it and will also compete constantly by quality since we can change our vote whenever we want if one witness is not showing good effort for the community. This way of governance
is much more power efficient and done not consume a lot of electricity.

Electing witnesses:

As an EOS holder we will be able to choose which candidate should be a witness, in order to do that we need to deposit some EOS, its still
unclear if we will receive a commission for the deposit but for sure its still ours, we are just depositing it to show the network
that we stand behind our choice.

Airdrops:

EOS has been fundraising for about 10 months already and will continue until June 2018, also they are raising more capital from VC's, with all that money they are planning to fund EOS projects themselves and because the funds are already raised there is no point in selling the tokens, so what will happen is that they will airdrop the tokens for free for EOS holders.
Its still unclear if the airdrops will be for all holders or only for voters or only for non-voters. Stay tuned for updates in that subject and in all EOS development updates.
