This grasshopper is a herbivorous insect from the suborder Caelifera in the Orthoptera order.
This insect has an antenna that is almost always shorter than this body and also has a short ovipositor. The sound caused by several grasshopper species is usually produced by rubbing the femur behind it against the front wing or abdomen (called stridulation), or because of the flutter of its wings when flying. The back femur is generally long and stronger which is suitable for jumping. These insects are generally winged, although their wings sometimes cannot be used to fly. if female grasshoppers are generally larger than male locusts.
