Rukam fruit or commonly called rukem fruit has the Latin name Flacourta rukam. This rukam fruit is an original fruit from Indonesia and is now becoming scarce. This rukam fruit tree grows in the wet tropics at an altitude of around 1500 masl, but can also be found at an altitude of 2100 masl. The height of this rukam tree can reach 20 m.
This rukem fruit can be eaten directly, but it tastes a little bit sour or sour. How to eat it is quite unique, namely by first massage it until it feels softer, then can be eaten.
