I'm Ethan Smith, and this is the STEEM Engine Express.

We begin this week with a trip to @lizelle's kitchen, where she offers her latest delicious-looking recipe in the Steemit Sandwich Contest! @lizelle treats us to photos of her pepper pizza avo sandwich, an elaborately crafted sandwich that incorporates elements of pizza and sandwiches. Beginning with homemade dough and peppers, @lizelle crafts a delectable sandwich that contains bacon, avocado, a tomato and onion sauce, and plenty of cheese. If you're looking for a new sandwich recipe to try, head over to this post for instructions and mouth-watering photos!

Continuing in the spirit of food, Passenger @slobberchops shared thoughts and photos from his recent trip to Betty's, a "quintessential English cafe tea room." Follow @slobberchops as he waits in line, is greeted by the friendly staff, orders a classic fish and chips plate, enjoys some English tea, and provides his take on the atmosphere and cost of the cafe. If you enjoy visiting English tea houses or are just looking to try something new, be sure to head over to this blog post to share your thoughts and check out the photos from the visit!

There's never a shortage of home cooking on the STEEM Engine, and @crazybgadventure provided another great recipe for us this week. CrazyBG offered a recipe for authentic Indian curry, a dish that requires slow cooking, but ultimately looks delicious. If you want the secret to getting the dish just right, you'll need to head over to the blog post to view the recipe straight from the kitchen! Be sure to leave your thoughts if you try the dish at home.

The fifteenth of every month is always a great day, because it means passenger @sultnpapper shares the latest installment of his "Will Eat BBQ 4 U" series. This week was no different, as he headed to Padre Island, Texas. Normally @sultnpapper would head to a Mexican restaurant when visiting this locale, but this time, he ventured into the "Texas Mesquite BBQ & Grille," where he ordered two smoked chicken breasts and fries. Be sure to read this blog to find out his thoughts on the meal and the restaurant, as it just might provide you with your next destination when you're in Texas.

Finally today, we head to @goldendawne's blog, where she offers a weekly post called The Kitchen Table, in which she blogs about recipes she's discovered across Steemit. This week, you'll find recipes for Thai fried noodles, vegetable lasagna, and bacon mac & cheese. If you're looking for new recipes, look no further than this weekly post, so be sure to subscribe to @goldendawne's blog so you never miss an opportunity to try something new.

The STEEM Engine Express features five of the best posts curated by the STEEM Engine each week across the Steemit platform. The Express is produced by Ethan D. Smith exclusively for The STEEM Engine initiative on Steemit.com, and is featured throughout the week on the SteemStar.net radio network.
