Beginner Bar DJ Tip #22

Trust the Reds, but then again don't trust the reds.

In most bars there's controls on the volume that are out of your control.

Either they're behind the bar or on another floor usually a manager or bartender will keep these in check.

There are three things to keep in mind about the volume meter\s on the mixer.

If you don't run red you'll get better sound.

Managers and Bartenders don't know the first thing about properly amplifying sound.

If your bar is too quiet people will leave.

Don't be a purist when it comes to that stuff, odds are it's not distorted enough for your average justin beiber fan to notice.
