UFO's News The week of October 16th
My next official article in the "Take Off Your Tinfoil Hat" series will be on Dr. James Lacatski but there is too much happening this week to ignore. UFO’s have gone from the Discovery channel at 11pm to CNN’s evening report. Here is a break down of the major events in the UFO world this week!
Monday 10/16
Dr. James Lacatski and his colleague Dr. Colm Kelleher appeared on the Weaponized podcast with George Knapp and Jermey Corbell. They discussed the new book Inside the US Government Covert UFO Program: Initial Revelations Written by George, Dr. Lacatski, and Dr Colm. The book veers from the last book Skinwalkers at the Pentagon: An Insider's Account of the Secret Government UFO Program written by the same authors which was critiqued for focusing on the paranormal aspects of the UFO phenomenon. In this book the authors focus on the physics and engineering of the crafts observed and investigated by AAWSAP. AAWSAP is the largest known UFO/ UAP program known and the daily operations of this program were overseen by Lacatski and Colm. The interview starts with Dr. Lacatski defending the scope of the previous book but moved on to talk about the nuts and bolts of the crafts. The group joked about Nuts and Bolts as a potential name for the book but decided aginst using the word nuts in the title of a UFO book as not to add to the stigma associated with the topic. Most notable revelation from the interview is this quote that was read and which is also printed on the back cover of the book:
“At the conclusion of a 2011 meeting in the Capitol building with a U.S. Senator and an agency Under Secretary, Lacatski, the only one of this book’s authors present, posed a question. He stated that the United States was in possession of a craft of unknown origin and had successfully gained access to its interior. This craft had a streamlined configuration suitable for aerodynamic flight but no intakes, exhaust, wings, or control surfaces. In fact, it appeared not to have an engine, fuel tanks, or fuel. Lacatski asked: What was the purpose of this craft? Was it a life-support craft useful only for atmospheric reentry or what? If it was a spacecraft, then how did it operate”?The authors reveal the deep commitment to physics and engineering of the United States Government- contracted UFO researchers as they sought to answer Lacatski’s seminal questions.
Besides comments from Jeremy stating "this is a big deal" there was ZERO additional details given from Lacatski because as he explained that is all he was cleared to say by the Department of Defence. In addition to this revelation Colm brought attention to the decades of UFO cases involving harm and even death to people in South America stating that if this was happening In the US it would be front-page news. People are having encounters with UFO/UAP and experiencing radiation type poisoning including metallic taste in mouth, hair falling out, burns, and death. Also of note they stated that while AAWSAP officials ended this work still continues to examine the intersection of UFO/UAP and the paranormal. here is a link to the full podcast !
Wednesday 10/18
Dr Kirkpatrick the head of the Pentagons All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office AARO sat down to be interviewed by CNN to discuss the release of their annual report. The report is much more mundane than the interview with Lacatski where they continue to maintain that we have no evidence of extraterrestrial craft. The report does state that they are investigating over 800 cases and that while most are mundane 2-4% are truly anomalous. Currently these cases are all reported by the military and are of current sitings but the AARO is opening the reporting portal for historical cases from military and then for the public to report. Rep. Tim Burchett Tweets
A SCIF has been booked for members of Congress to meet with the Inspectors General of the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community to discuss UAPs in a classified setting. Dates for the meetings:
Department of Defence Inspector General (DOD IG) - October 26 Intelligence Community Inspector General (IC IG) - November 16
This is significant as it seems like the UAP caucus is our only hope for true disclosure. While the DOD is allowing certain people to say certain things they are keeping tight control over the narrative by the releases from AARO and their approval of data put out by ex employees through DOPSR requests . DOPSR is the Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review where the DOD gets to scrutinize anything that anyone with any clearances wants to say to the public without being locked up.
The cause initially requested a SCIF to speak with David Grouch ahead of the congressional hearing in July but were denied. Since then Rep Luna and Burchett have kept the heat on. While they did not get David Grusch they may have done better in getting the ICIG and DOD IG. Grusch testified that he has given his full testimony to the ICIG when his complaint of reprisals against him were deemed credible and urgent. These are not public hearings but as Burchett says its a start.
