Meine Frau hatte mir zum Geburtstag ein Wochenende im Romantikhotel Schloss Rheinfels geschenkt.
My wife had given me a weekend at the Romantikhotel Schloss Rheinfels for my birthday.
Hoch über den Rhein hatte man einen phantastischen Ausblick auf den Fluss und die Umgebung
High above the Rhine, one had a fantastic view of the river and its surroundings
Leider war das Hotel doch teurer als erwartet und so musste ich Wache stehen.
Unfortunately the hotel was more expensive than expected and so I had to stand guard.
Meine Frau weigerte sich jedoch in der Schänke auszuhelfen...das kommt nun davon ;-)
But my wife refused to help out in the tavern... that's what happens now; -)

Nach einem reichhaltigen Frühstück am Bufett haben wir uns Stromaufwärts in Richtung Bingen begeben um dort den Rhein zu überqueren und die Stadt Rüdesheim zu erkunden.Die Tage werde ich von Rüdesheim und von den Aussichten auf der Rückfahrt berichten.

After a rich breakfast at the Bufett we went upriver to Bingen to cross the Rhine and explore the city of Rüdesheim.The days I will tell you about Rüdesheim and the outlook on the way back.
