This mushroom you can see here bears the name Bovist or also scientifically "Bovista". It belongs to the family of the champions relatives (Agaricaceae) and the bodies are mostly spherical. There are several types of Bovists but not all are edible. Famous is the giant Bovist because some dishes can be cooked from it, Giant Bovist can reach a diameter of 10-60 cm.
