The 28th Match of the Big Bash League 2021-22 was played yesterday between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Thunder, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. In which Sydney Thunder wins over Adelaide Strikers by 22 runs,

Sydney Thunder batted first after winning the toss, started the inning very well, Matthew Gilkes and Ben Cutting came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone for 37 runs in third ball of the 5th over, Matthew Gilkes dismissed just for 13 runs in 10 balls, next batsman Jason Sangha came to bat, and handled the inning with Ben Cutting, the second wicket has gone for 62 runs in third ball of the 10th over, Ben Cutting dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 37 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 3 boundaries in 32 balls, next batsman Sam Billings came to bat, and handled the inning with Jason Sangha, the third wicket has gone for 98 runs in second ball of the 14th over, Sam Billings dismissed after scoring 1Jonathan Wells8 runs in 11 balls, followed by Oliver Davies came to bat, hanlded the inning and played a brilliant quick unbetaen inning of 26 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 1 boundary in just 12 balls, and Jason Sangha played a very brilliant unbetaen quick half-century inning of 91 runs with the help of 6 sixes and 6 boundaries in just 55 balls. In this way, Jason Sangha batted first after winning the toss scored 187 runs for losing just 3 wickets in stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 188 for Adelaide Strikers.

Adelaide Strikers bowlers Daniel Worrall, Peter Siddle, and Fawad Ahmed got 1-1 wicket.

Adelaide Strikers chasing 188 runs in the second inning they could manage just 165 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 22 runs.
