Recently turned Rosewood pencil. I love working with Rosewood, it's a hardwood with nice, tight grain and it looks beautiful once done.

This week I turned another Majestic Pen but this time I did it with Blued Box Elder. Box Elder is a nice wood to turn and I especially like the blued pattern. To finish it, I take it up through 2000 grit

I recently turned this pen from Ebony Wood. I think it turned out nice. The finish isn't quite as smooth as I had hoped, but it feels great in the hand. I may try a few more of these pens in the near future.

This was my 90th vase that I’ve turned on the lathe. It took 35 hours to build. Let’s make wood look good.

Making a quick project, carved from African blackwood

Got some new tools to help with getting finer details for the pedestal, I'm going to take the paint off and make the lines straighter and more defined not sure why the pics are upside down, oh well

So I'm going to make another ashtray based on Anubis, ill be using African Blackwood. The gloss black part of the middle piece is what this wood looks like naturally when polished. No dyes or stain used
