生命在于折腾：见证人节点已经运行在1.28.3版本
话说半个多月前闲来无事编译了一下hived的1.27.11版本，若说原因，至少想保持手熟——拳不离手、曲不离口嘛。卖油翁不也说了嘛：“我亦无他,惟手熟尔。” (图源 ：pixabay) 事实上我没那么手熟，长久地不和这些操作打交道，基本的操作都要忘光了，所以折腾1.27.11版本，属实让我掉了许多头发。（咦，好像是谁问我还有没有头发？）

My witness as well as @chisdealhd's witness and the @alloyxuast witness are going to be down for a few days. I'm currently in the process of switching to my new rig which requires my old one to be shut

切换hive见证人节点至v1.25.0版本
之前编译了hived v1.25.0版本，并且作为备份节点运行了一段时间，这段时间看到已经有五个TOP20 & 数个备份见证人切换出块节点到v1.25.0版本，我决定也把自己节点切换到v1.25.0。 (图源 ：pixabay) 因为我有主备节点，所以切换起来还是十分简单的，只需在备份节点上配置一组不同的出块私钥，然后在见证人属性中设置对应的公钥即可。 在更新之前，我见证人对应的签名公钥如下：

HIVE硬分叉25(HardFork 25)要来啦 & 共识变化(Consensus changes)
3天前编译了一下hived的v1.25.0版本，并且在测试机上replay了一下，由于我测试机跑的程序比较多，所以CPU和IO资源都很紧张，replay用了我一天多的时间。 (图源 ：pixabay) 当然了，如果是高配的VPS或者独立服务器，那么replay的时间应该会大大缩短，不过也无所谓啦，反正hardfork的时间（暂）定的是： June 30, 2021 at 14:00 UTC，还早着呢。

尝试编译hived v1.25.0
最近一两个月以来，HIVE已经释出了5个发布候选版(Release Candidate)，勤劳的见证人们也在测试网(testnet)上进行了各种测试，昨天期待已久的v1.25.0终于发布啦，赶紧测试一下尝尝鲜。 按着以往的套路在Ubuntu 18.04上尝试编译，结果遇到了一些小问题，这里记录一下。 一些选项退出历史舞台 移除LOW_MEMORY_NODE以及CLEAR_VOTES

Witness node is back up and running!
Yeap, Finally got everything sorted out. After failing horribly to turn my Virtual Box witness instance into a full node I promptly nuked the lot of it and moved back to using WSL2 So I'm now back to running
