This was the view from the apartment balcony when staying in Val Thorens for the first time in February 2010. I have stayed in the same hotel since, but unfortunately never got the view on this side again!

This is a lovely view of the mountains in Val Thorens in the Three Valleys, French Alps. It can appear quite barren, there aren't many trees because of the altitude - Val Thorens is the highest ski resort

This is another old one from 2010. This is the main slope through Val Thorens in the French Alps, the highest ski resort in Europe - I love it here, although I've been staying in Meribel more recently
