A few minutes ago, when I tried to access my steemit 'transfers', I noticed that my browser redirects to connect.facebook.net among other things. My browser is Google Chrome. I use steemit.com.

Steemit.com itself now competes with steemd.com over which will be the more dysfunctional platform. I am not informed about the details more than you can see in my previous posts, I just see the results

Is it not a new record in Steemit history? A near 24 hours of dysfunction. "Warning: Service interruption -- head block age: 1 day ago -- Blockchain RESYNC in progress!" For all the hard forks,

For recent history about the subject, you can check my blog. Since I joined steemit and learned about steemd, I found this to be one of steemit's biggest flaws which are not caused by spammers/direct scammers.

Why does steemd.com go down so often and why is steemit.com so dysfunctional without it? You can see my previous post for more about this subject. This thread is just for the record.
