I was a little faster at parkrun this week. It took a bit of effort the while way in zone 4. I needed my fast shoes to do it but someone else showed me up and ran the 5 kilometres barefoot. This report

Revisting solar panel options. With the price of everything going up, it might even be worth looking at a battery and an EV car as well. I'm not sure I can really afford it all, but it might be worth trying

I was doing some digging in the yard and came across a bit of a blast from the past. I recon this bottle top has been buried there from when they built the house, like more than 30 years ago. It was surrounded

A big branch fell on one of our local fire trails. So after my morning run, I got the bike out, and @consciouscat and I were able to drag it off to one side. There was no need to call the council. It was

I was at my local Bunnings hardware store getting some timber for my next project. I was not really sure if I needed any wall insulation, but I could not resist this heavily discounted pack of exactly

There was an ultra running event not far from us. We didn't run but checked it out. There are lots of events nowadays there all a bit different. This one was a more a team event held over a couple of days.

I started a new running program based on my watch and garmin. This one is more focused on getting a faster time for a 5 km parkrun. I just used some trail fire trail but had to include a dead u turn to

I powered up 738 for power-up day. I used to try to power up daily, which is probably a smarter move, but I like comparing the monthly numbers. I bought $25aud worth at coinspot to top up as well. It just

A bit of rain seems to have done wonder for the garden, and bush. I don't think it will be long before the punkins are ready to eat. I think we just have to wait until the stem is not so green. I have

A wallaby in the nature reserve on our afternoon walk. I did a bit of a run/walk in the morning, too. The rest of the day was on a new project in the kitchen. A bit of cabinet relocation. This report was

I usually just turn the pool off when we are away and throw in a floating chlorine tablet. It works quite well on the shorter trips, but this time, we were away for longer, and it got a bit out of control.

Yesterday parkrun just cruised around the course in just under 39 minutes. Collecting those stats. Photo credits to parkrun volunteer photographers This report was published via Actifit app (Android |

Got the bike out to get some fitness in and have a bit of a rest day from running. Cross training. It might be a good idea to get a bit more bike fitness in, with the fuel price continuing to rise. This

I picked up a legendary reward card just playing splinterlands casually. It helped me win a few extra games and move up a level. I opened 10 rising star packs and got 2 Easter cards, I wonder if I can

My entry into bucipuci's around the world challenge 46/6 is a photo I took yesterday on the last day of our house sitting holiday. It is of the ship wreck at Woolgoolga Beach, New South Wales, Australia.

Another great little stay in Woolgoolga we got a beach cabin for the last night of our house sitting trip.
