Today I walked through New Westminster during BC Recovery Day and came across something that stopped me in my tracks — a tree, strung from branch to branch with hundreds of paper hearts, flowers, and stars.

One of the challenges facing business premises around my office location is parking. A lot of the buildings here do not have adequate provision for parking spaces, which makes it difficult for car owners

All of the photos in this set were taken on May 16th, 1962 at the civic center in Lansing and are labeled 'Senior Cit State Get Together'. Apparently this was some kind of convention for senior citizens.
