On the first day of the festival we had a foot of rain and the little creek became a small river. There were wild horses near where we camped. When we got back a baby Alpaca had been born during the storm.

The studio rolls to the Roots bar. Beer is consumed. The studio rolls home. A Weka wanders through the house. Life is good.

It's a bit chilly today.

Got some momentum going on this metal re-clad today. Misty drizzly weather. Supposed to be quite rainy tomorrow. Such a fantastic location. I love this house and it is looking so much better with the iron

Just a photo from a friends building site. He will be building a large house there that apparently I will be roofing. A bit exposed up there. He has a hilltop with fantastic panoramic views of the bay.

So I'm here living in one of the most spectacular and magical places in the world. Golden bay, top of the South Island of New Zealand. I'll be sharing photography while I'm here.  I M S F h
