I was very much impressed by the magnificent bazaar in an ancient Iranian city called Kashan. Like most other ancient cities, the bazaar in Kashan is a work of great architectural genius. The ceiling structure

Black-and-white photography has always been interesting to me because it is not only about strong contrast between light and dark. Sometimes, what makes an image stand out is the texture that slowly becomes

Compositions with overlapping triangles magically attract the viewer's gaze, don't they? I have always loved such photos For some reason I often come across such motifs with man-made objects, but in

In this video, I show that the infinite series xn = x0 + x1 + x2 + ... is just a geometric series, and converges if the absolute value of x is less than 1. By common convention, x0 = 1, so the first term

In this video, I go over an example of converting the number 2.3171717... (with infinite repeating 17) into a fraction by writing the repeating 17s as an infinite geometric series with common ratio 1/100,

In this video, I go over two examples and two methods of identifying if a series is a geometric series, and then finding its sum if it converges. In the first example, we are given the first 4 terms of

Two examples on identifying geometric series and finding their sums, if the series converges.

In this video, I go over the geometric series, which is the sum a + a r + a r^2 + ..., and show that if the absolute value of the common ratio r is less than 1, then the sum is just the first term divided

3Speak - YouTube - Telegram - Notes - Playlist - Sequences and Series - MES Links In this video, I go over the geometric series, which is the sum a + a r + a r^2 + ..., and show that if the absolute value

He wasn’t completely free of the older view as he pondered the tricks that schoolmasters used to construct the canonical curves without bothering with any algebra: a string attached to a peg that could

Some of the works Newton had already read used infinite series to attack a variety of questions—for one, chasing down ever more precise values for that bane of middle school geometers, π(the number used

The study of curves was a central fascination of seventeenth-century mathematics, and Newton had plunged into the field when he read a translation of René Descartes’s Geometrya year before the plague hit.

Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unexpected places. This photo was taken inside a zoo building. I honestly wasn’t paying much attention to. I was mostly busy with animals 😀 I was just passing

Warm greeting to the friend's of hive. Its a skme polygons shapes. I hope its informative for all of you.

Continuing my classes in electroculture with another 90sec film, fresh from the edit suite! Description: Most people seem aware that electricity can be harvested from the sky yet remain suspicious that

Continuing musings upon Laws of Form, the Tree of Life and Synergetics...

Surely the Wikipedia entry is not quite correct, gravity-waves ought to be affectable / modifiable by intervening masses?
